HOS Charges Staff To Be Willing To Make Sacrifices To Achieve Set Goals Of The Government

The new Head of Service, Mr Benson Ojeikere held his maiden meeting with the Inner staff of the Office of the Head of Service, emphasizing the importance of integrity, trust, sacrifice, and expedited service delivery.

Addressing the staff, Mr Ojeikere charged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethics in the discharge of their duties.

The Head of Service stressed that trust was a fundamental component of effective service delivery, arguing that staff must work to earn and maintain the trust of the public.

He also emphasized the need for sacrifice and dedication, urging staff to put the interests of the state and its citizens above personal interests.

Mr Ojeikere who described the office of the Head of Service as the heartbeat of the Service and as such should be a pacesetter in providing efficient and effective service delivery, asserted that they must be willing to make sacrifices to achieve set goals of the government.

The Head of Service who appreciated the Governor, Dr Alex Otti for finding him fit to serve as the arrow head of the Service, solicited the unreserved loyalty and cooperation of the entire civil/public servants in achieving the transformation policies of the present administration.

In a vote of thanks, the Director of Information, Office of the Head of Service, Adaeze Ralph Igbokwe who expressed gratitude to the Head of Service for his words of encouragement and guidance to strive for excellence assured of their absolute support and loyalty to galvanize the Service.
