Tight Security, Transparency Mark Commencement Of 2026 Police Recruitment Exams In Abia

The 2026 Police Recruitment Written Examination has commenced at Ibeku High School, Umuahia, with the exercise scheduled to run from April 28 to April 30, 2026.

The screening exercise is being coordinated by a high-powered team led by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ike Nwosu, alongside officials from the Police Service Commission and representatives of the Federal Character Commission, ensuring strict compliance with established guidelines.
Addressing the screening team at the venue, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, assured officials of maximum support from the Command.

He commended the team for the orderly conduct of the process and cautioned against any acts of unprofessionalism capable of tarnishing the image of the Nigeria Police Force. The CP stressed the need for fairness, transparency, professionalism, and integrity in line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police.

In his remarks to applicants, CP Isa urged them to maintain orderliness throughout the exercise, reiterating that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge. He further advised candidates to report any form of extortion or misconduct to the Complaint Response Unit of the Command via the designated lines: 09031593827 and 09035401645.

The examination is currently progressing in a secure and controlled environment, with the Provost team actively enforcing compliance with directives restricting access to only authorized personnel.
The Command reaffirmed its commitment to a credible, transparent, and hitch-free recruitment process.
