Special Marshalls Urged To Shape Up Or Ship Out
Worried by the alarming rate of apathy and laxity among some Special Marshalls in the State, the Federal Road Safety Corps has charged Special Marshalls to renew their commitment to proactive service.
Addressing the State and Units Officials of the Special Marshalls at the Command Headquarters Umuahia, Abia Sector Commander, Mrs Ngozi Ezeoma asserted that those who failed to shun their apathetic attitudes are advised to resign honorably, as the Corps seeks to inject new vigor into its volunteer arm.
Mrs. Ezeoma however, commended the efforts and commitment of dedicated Special Marshalls, urging them not to be discouraged by the apathy exhibited by some members.
The Sector Commander also charged the State and Units Executive to step up efforts in ensuring that members are alive to their volunteer duties of contributing to road safety in Nigeria.
Responding on behalf of others, the State Assistant Coordinator, Barrister Kingsley Nwachi assured of redoubling their efforts in realizing the set goals of the Corps in establishing Special Marshall arm.
