Abia NSCDC Welcomes A New Commandant
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC),Abia State,has formally welcomed the new Commandant,Remi Akintola Ajose as the 19th substantive state Commandant .

uaters in Umuahia to him.
During the ceremony, the outgoing Commandant thanked officers and men of the command for the support and loyalty he enjoyed from them and requested them to extend the same to the incoming Commandant for the continuous development of the Corps in the State.
In his words, the Commandant said “though my time was short in the state, I will not forget in a hurry the kind of atmosphere I experienced, with dedicated staff that exhibited high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties”. He will be proceeding to Sokoto State command as the next State Commandant.
While responding to the remarks by the outgoing Commandant, Commandant Remi Akintola Ajose who was from Igodan Lisa in Okitipupa local Government area of Ondo State stated that he is a Graduate of Theater Arts from University of Benin, holds a Masters Degree in public Administration and expressed appreciation for the Commandant and members of the Abia State Command present at the ceremony for the warm welcome he received and pledged to carry everyone along.
He said “leadership is continuum, soldiers come and soldiers go but the barracks remain, so on that note, I expect nothing from the members of the staff except their full cooperation and support for me to effectively carry out my mandate”.
In addition ,he revealed that he has served in various Capacities in the Corp’s across the State and his most recent posting is as the 2IC NSCDC Rivers State before his recent elevation to the rank of Command of Corp’s.
