Governor Otti Praises CAN For Commitment To Abia’s Progress
Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has lauded the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for its efforts in building a prosperous state.
The Governor who was ably represented by his Deputy Chief Ikechukwu Emetu at the New Year Thanksgiving Service and Rededication of Abia State to God, Otti emphasized CAN’s strategic role in shaping a better society.
Otti urged CAN members to continue praying for the state’s progress, expressing gratitude for their prayers and service.
In his address, CAN Chairman Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma thanked the government for its support, citing improvements in service delivery and infrastructure under Otti’s administration.
Also in his remark ,Archbishop Chibuzo Opoko of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Umuahia Diocese, represented by Rt.Rev.Ikechukwu Chiemezie, encouraged Christians to strengthen their faith, engage in soul-winning, and participate in the voters’ registration exercise.
The event which attracted dignitaries from across the state including, Governor’s Special Adviser on religious matters, Apostle K.C Wiper, featured prophetic declaration,prayers for the state and formal rededication of the state to God among others.
